Like the popularity of adult coloring books, adults are getting back to playing like kids more as a way to combat anxiety. 😃 Here are a few DIY tutorials of how to make a calm jar or calm down jar (THESE ARE FOR GROWN UP PEOPLE TOO, I SWEAR!).

The basic idea is that you combine glitter glue, glitter, and hot water in a mason jar or plastic bottle, or you can combine baby oil with loose glitter. Depending on which method you use, you’ll get a different consistency. Then when you’re feeling anxious, you shake up the bottle like a snow globe and watch the glitter slowly settle to the bottom.

Galaxy bottles or jars are a little different because they’re full of paint-covered cotton balls, but they’re soooo pretty and still soothing to look at. 🙂
